We are very pleased to share two great news from Taiwan as follows:
Mr. Jack Chun-Yat Hsu, AIT class of 1983 - Division of Geotechnical & Transportation Engineering, has been promoted to be the Minister of Public Construction Commission Executive Yuan, effective 2nd of July 2014. Prior to this, Mr. Hsu had been the Administrative Deputy Minister for 1 year in Ministry of Transportation and Communications and the Director of AITAA ROC Chapter.
Mr. Kao Chung-Cheng, AIT class of 1981 – Division of Computer Applications, has been promoted to be the Vice Mayor of New Taipei City Government, effective 1st of July 2014. Prior to this, Mr. Kao had been the Bureau Commissioner of Public Works Department for 3.5 years in New Taipei City Government and the President of AITAA ROC Chapter from 2011 to 2013.
We join our friends worldwide in conveying our congratulations to Mr. Hsu and Mr. Kao and our thanks to them for bringing pride to AIT and its alumni.
